Today, the Kimberlin Brown Pelzer for Congress campaign announced that is has raised over $175,000 in the fourth quarter of 2017, with more than $140,000 in cash on hand. Kimberlin launched her campaign for California’s 36th district in mid-October.
“Our message is hitting home with hard-working people across the district who want to see conservative leadership in Washington, not more of the same from career politicians who are satisfied with the status quo,” said Brown Pelzer. I have a track record of success, follow through on my promises, and get results. Our strong fundraising numbers from the last quarter clearly represent that.”
As of December 31st, the Brown Pelzer campaign raised more than $175,000 in contributions, with over $143,000 cash on hand. With Kimberlin’s strong end-of-year campaign finance showing, the race for California’s 36th Congressional District is more competitive than it has ever been before.
“It has been an incredible few months since jumping into this race, and I am encouraged by the support I have received from across the district,” said Brown Pelzer. “We have had an amazing start, and we are ready to do what’s necessary to take back this district. I look forward to the rest of the campaign and spreading our message of bringing common sense conservatism back to Washington.”
Congressional District 36 covers large portions of eastern Riverside County. The district extends from Hemet east to Blythe and covers the majority of desert communities including Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio, Coachella, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, and Cathedral City. The district has a Cook PVI rating of D+2 and is one of the NRCC’s top California targets.
Kimberlin and her husband Gary have built several successful businesses from the ground up. She also personally owns and operates her own successful design company, K. Brown Design. Together, they employ over 100 Californians. The Pelzer’s are homeowners in Palm Springs and are active in a number of charitable organizations and foundations.
