East Valley Republican Women Federated Endorsement

East Valley Republican Women Federated (EVRWF) throws its support behind Kimberlin for Congress (CA-36)

Today, Kimberlin Brown Pelzer announced that she has received the endorsement of the East Valley Republican Women Federated – a leading grassroots organization in the 36th Congressional District.

“Kimberlin is exactly who we need in Congress — a small business owner who is not part of the political establishment,” said Joy Miedecke, EVRWF’s President. “She cares about people, has a proven track record of accomplishments and has shown she has the dedication and tenacity to win this election.”

The EVRWF is the second largest organization of Federated women in the State of California.  The group cited Kimberlin’s commitment to conservative values, her small business background and life experiences as reasons for the overwhelming endorsement vote.

“I’m honored to have the support of the such an important grassroots organization in the district,” noted Kimberlin Brown. “They know my commitment to fight for common sense reform in Washington and I look forward to campaigning hard with them and other grassroots supporters to win this election.”

Just last month, Kimberlin launched her campaign to take on Rep. Raul Ruiz in California’s 36th Congressional District in 2018.  She entered the national political spotlight as a prime time featured speaker at the Republican National Convention in 2016.  She fervently spoke about small business, women in business, and securing the American Dream for future generations.  While she was invited to speak at the RNC because of her role as an actress, Kimberlin’s other life experiences are what have compelled her to run for Congress.  She strongly believes that the district has not been effectively represented and that her diverse track record of successes will enable her to be a principled and effective, results driven leader in Congress.

Congressional District 36 covers large portions of eastern Riverside County. The district extends from Hemet east to Blythe and covers the majority of desert communities including Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio, Coachella, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, and Cathedral City.  The district has a Cook PVI rating of D+2 and is one of the NRCC’s top California targets.

Kimberlin and her husband Gary have built several successful businesses from the ground up.  She also personally owns and operates her own successful design company, K. Brown Design. Together, they employ over 100 Californians.   The Pelzer’s are homeowners in Palm Springs and are active in a number of charitable organizations and foundations.
